This is the summary of the children who received our in-home care at Aozora clinic in Sumida, Tokyo from April 2011 to September 2014. The total number is 276. These are the medical devices used in the care. Half of them are under the control of ventilators, and got tracheostomy. At the beginning, the fraction of children with ventilators and tracheostomy was lower, but it has been is increasing. The IVH control is also increasing.
This is the summary of the fatalities at Aozora clinic. 109 child patients passed away in 15 years after the clinic opened. We provided the end-of-life care to 43 of them at home
And We also provide the end-of-life care to about 1,200 elderly persons at home.
